Two Palestinians were killed and a third was injured in Israeli occupation forces’ artillery shelling of the eastern areas of Masdar village in central Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening.
Adham Abu Salmiya, the spokesman for medical services, told the PIC reporter that ambulance crews retrieved the bodies of the two martyrs and a wounded person.
He identified the two martyrs as Mohamed Abu Jazar and Kamal Abu Moamer, both from southern Gaza.
For his part, an IOF spokesman said that a warplane raided a group of Palestinians who were preparing to fire rockets at Israeli targets.
