Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, spokesman for Hamas movement, confirmed on Sunday that there are Egyptian promises to improve the mechanism of travel through the Rafah crossing with the Gaza Strip during the next two months.

Abu Zuhri, during a political meeting held by political and moral guidance commission, showed that his movement feels a real crisis regarding the movement of passengers at the Rafah crossing.

He also stressed that Hamas is showing great flexibility in dealing with reconciliation file for the sake of national interest, noting that his movement is committed to the text of reconciliation agreement, which was held recently in Cairo.

Abu Zuhri said that "the other party is taking too long and seeks to disrupt reconciliation," noting that " Fayyad is rejected by Hamas, so Abbas should choose a compromise figure."
