Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security released on Saturday morning (25/6) 26 detainees who have served two thirds of their period at the Center of Rehabilitation and Reform in the west of Gaza as a gift from Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad to the members of "Miles of Smiles" convoy.
Lieutenant colonel Nasir Sulaiman, director general of rehabilitation centers, announced that release of those detainees was implemented according to the decision of Mr. Hammad to honor the members of convoy "Miles of Smiles", that reached Gaza in the middle of last week.
Sulaiman confirmed that they are doing many important activities that actually lead to reform the detainees and making several religious and educational programs .
Lieutenant colonel Sulaiman welcomed the members of convoy of who support the Palestinian people, that live under the unfair siege for more that four years.
