Travel for pilgrims on Monday and Tuesday ... Lt. Col. Barka: Facilities on Rafah crossing is not applied on the ground

Lt. Col. Salama Barka, director of crossings' police, said: "Facilities announced by the Egyptian side is not applied on the ground, and there is slowness to accommodate the passengers and their leaving through the Rafah crossing."

 
Barka confirmed that the Palestinian side is unable to help citizens in the light of the increasing number of passengers especially patients and the owners of residences and business.


He added: "The solution is that Egyptian side should adhere to facilities whiche promised and apply these facilities in the ground."

 
Lt. Col. Barka pointed out that travel for pilgrims will be on Monday and Tuesday.


He showed that the number of passengers yesterday reached 338, including 21 Egyptian nationality and 52 different nationalities, while the number of returned reached to 16, in addition to 516 passengers coming to the Gaza Strip.
