Committee of Defense on Silwan Lands called citizens to participate in the sit-in which held on Thursday 16/6/2011, in front of the buildings of Israeli municipality in Jerusalem.
A member of committee Fakhri Abu Diab said: "there was no truth to news that talked about a meeting for the Israeli Court to decide the fate of more than 550 dunums of lands located southern Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning of the danger of making such decisions.
Also, Abu Diab said that the confiscation of hundreds of dunums in the region means constructing hundreds of settlements in the Old City of Jerusalem.
