Brigadier-General Tayseer Al-Batsh, Palestinian police's chief, said: "the Palestinian police will take in major tasks to provide security and safety during the general secondary exams mid-June."
Al-Batsh confirmed that the police service put a complete plan in coordination with the Ministry of Education, indicating the willingness of policemen and their full readiness to implement the plan with the start of exams, adding, "We have a plan regarding the active movement of citizens on Gaza beach during the summer and facilitate the movement of traffic on the coastline".
He also revealed the willingness of police to organize and arrange recreational areas and prevent the entry of any means of transport, which harm citizens.
Brigadier-General Tayseer Al-Batsh indicated that the plan of police's work during the summer will be implemented with the participation of departments of police, includes the traffic police and police patrols, and he added: "We have a plan to address some of the negative phenomena that appear in the summer, stressing that the police have a plan in all aspects.
Ministry of Interior and National Security had made recently administrative amendment between the leaders of security services for the benefit of police and security work in all ministry's department?
"Making administrative amendment between the leaders of security services in the Gaza Strip is part of the service law of security services, and every leaded is not exceeding three years; in order to achieve the interest of work." Al-Batsh answered.
What is your future plan to upgrade the police service? Do you have a specific plan are seeking to be applied in the recent future?
"We have a plan developed with the beginning of the year 2011, to develop the Palestinian police from all aspects." he added.
