Government calls on Egypt to restore the facilities granted to the Palestinians in Rafah crossing

Palestinian government in Gaza, has called the Egyptian leadership , the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces , the Egyptian government , the military intelligence service , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all the parties that supported the Palestinian cause back to the facilities that have been announced at the Rafah crossing.

Dr.HassanAbuHashish, the head ofthe government media office, has demanded  ina press conferenceon Monday afternoonthe Egyptian leadershipto restorethe facilities,especiallythe numberof passengers, andworking timeandaddresslists of people bannedfromtravelingin order to achievealleviatethe suffering ofthe sick andthose who have socialneedandcommunicationwith theoutside world.

Abu Hasheesh said, " We in the Palestinian government has high confidence  in our brothers in the Egyptian leadership to open the crossing."


He considered the Rafah border crossing with Egypt as a one lung breathes by million and seven hundred thousand Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Abu Hashish added , that the Palestinians were ready to travel but surprised  by the Egyptian decision of to prevent them for travel , pointing out that this method increase the suffering of Palestinians on the crossing again .

He continued , "We are going to perform Umrah for the months of Rajab and Sha'ban, and Ramadan, whereas , thousands of citizens began to register, in addition to the summer holiday season, which is witnessing strong demand for vacation travel and social contacts between the Palestinian families."

Abu Hashish concluded his speech saying "We have a high confidence in our brothers in Egypt , and we wait a wise decision to return to work in the crossing according to the facilities declared by them."
