The closure of Rafah crossing point does not occur following policy decisions or pressures of the Egyptian government, according to Lieutenant Colonel and Chief of Police of crossing and borders Salama Baraka.
He appreciated the facilities provided by the Egyptian brothers.
He added, "The management of the Rafah crossing was surprised Egyptian decision to close passage without prior notice.
Hundreds of citizens who want to quit demonstrated outside the door forcing them to wait and protest, " he added.
He reported an atmosphere of tension created because of the resolution caused the citizen to enter the door and repeated the slogans of brotherhood and unity between Egypt and Palestine.

Baraka said the Rafah crossing remained closed Saturday hoping that reopens next in a normal way and according to the new agreements.
He said that there are communications with the Egyptian brothers to find alternatives.
