A delegation of Information office at the Ministry of Interior and National security in Gaza , has visited the rehabilitation and reform center , to see the position of female inmates in the central Gaza prison in Gaza city .
The delegation met by a number of administration officers in the center headed by Om Mohammed Shamalakh .
During the visit , the delegation toured in the rooms and departments of central Gaza prison to brief on the ongoing work inside the center regarding female prisoners .
Counselor Faten Al-bursh , confirmed that they spend all their efforts to be close from the intimates and to provide all means of rest for them , pointing out that they deal with female intimates because they are women , which means that forbidden to the men to search or to investigate with the female inmates .
" According to the law , the inmates detained for 24 hours then follow the legal extend until issuing the sentence against them " , she added
Meanwhile , a female security officer Imam Abu Jayab, showed that they care about the physiological and healthy position for inmates, pointing out that they receive sudden visits from red cross , and human rights organizations to see their healthy and physiological positions .
We deal with inmates as humans , not as prisoners " , she explained . "
She pointed tofinancial supportfortheprisonersaftertheyleavethe prisontopreventthemfromcommittingotheroffenses.
In a response to the number of female inmates inside rehabilitation and reform center in Gaza , Abu Jayab said that they have ten , pointing that one of them was released at the morning of visit day
The delegation transferred from the officers in their administration to see the female inmates situations inside their rooms in the center .
The devoiced prisoner " A, H" , who accused of robbery , regretful said that the economic circumstances that live it with ten children forced her to commit such this crime .
The story of divorced prisoner " A,H " was one of more grief stores, which committed by female prisoners , due to their bad circumstances , as they told .
At the end of visit , the female inmates appreciated the treatment of officers inside the prison as they provide all rest means and to deliver lectures , in order to spread the security and religious consciousness .
On the other hand , the delegation of information office at the interior ministry thanked the administration of prison for their receiving and allowing them to see the positions of female prisoners .
