Ministry of Labour has organized on Sunday in a collaboration with the General Federation of Trade Unions of Palestine and the Center for Democracy and Workers Rights in Gaza an inspection visit to the local factories in Khan Younis , southern Gaza Strip to see the situation of workers inside factories.
An official of inspection department at the Ministry of Labour, Atef Sadek , said : "These visits aim at measure the comment extent of application of labor law legislation on the ground , and to make sure the providing of occupational safety conditions for workers .
Alaa Amour , the director of the Federation of Workers in Khan Younis, has confirmed that his union is keen to defend the rights and interests of workers in all fields and follow the conditions in places where they work in coordination with the authorities so that workers live work environment and knowing of the existence of protected and defended them.
In the same context, the coordinator of the Center for Democracy and Workers Rights, Ibrahim Al-Najjar's , has expressed the willingness to visit the center for intensive and continuous local plants to get acquainted with the conditions of workers.
