On Wednesday , April 27, 2011 Fatah and Hamas movement were signed the Palestinian reconciliation agreement under the sponsorship of Egyptians , to end the division between two Palestinian parties .
Every one wait the changing , that will be happened after the reconciliation , especially in the Rafah crossing , and the movement of citizens via this crossing .
As a result , Ministry of Interior highlighted on the ongoing of work inside the crossing after the reconciliation during an interview held by information office at the Ministry with major Salama Baraka , the director of border and crossing police .
Maj. Salama Baraka said that they ready to work in all circumstances , pointing out that they working in a sever and difficult circumstances within unjust siege on Gaza strip .
He added , that all world witness the efforts spent by staffs in the crossing , in order to serve Palestinian citizen and to provide rest for him .
, Baraka confirmed , describing the process of citizen's travel from .Our main goal is a citizen ""
Rafah crossing until his arrival to Egyptian side .
As well as , he explained that they continuing with Egyptian side , in order to facilitate the procedures to Palestinian citizen also .
On the other hand , he pointed out that there is a several demands were proposed in the participation agenda during the dialogue of Cairo .
" There is promises to provide facilities on the movement of passengers , including the review in the issue of security preventing for citizens , the number of working hours in the crossing, the allowed numbers to travel abroad ,and to allow for all citizens to travel " , Salama said expecting what will be happened after the reconciliation .
In response to a question about the reaction of Israeli occupation if the reconciliation actually applied , Salama explained that the occupation reaction appeared since the initial signing of reconciliation , where as the threats a menace , but all world witnessed our unity and strong according to the national program .
According to the security sources in the crossing , the obstacles increased after the Egyptian Revolution , and we spend all effort to ease these problems and obstacles " .
Bashir Khail , one of passengers who came to the Rafah crossing , described the work inside the crossing as good , appreciating the role of staffs inside the crossing to provide the rest for them , pointing out that they hope to achieve reconciliation actually in order to apply what is dreamed by Palestinian citizens since a long time .
In her part , the citizen Amany Al-Beltagy , who want to leave Gaza strip in order to hold her marriage ceremony in the Cairo , expressed her pleasure to facilitation made by Palestinian side to provide security and safety for citizens, assuring that she with reconciliation to provide more facilities .
Once again , Maj. Salama Baraka confirmed his hope to achieve all Cairo dialogue proposals in order to proved the security , safety , and the rest of Palestinian citizen from and in to the crossing .
