MP Jamal Al-Khudari has urged the world community to support the Palestinian national reconciliation agreement and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Khudari, an independent lawmaker, called in a statement on Saturday for improving the life of people in Gaza Strip, advocating opening all Gaza commercial crossings, allowing entry of all needed materials especially for construction, launching a safe passageway between Gaza and the West Bank, and re-opening the Gaza airport.
He asked the world community to help build Gaza harbor and to carry out the plans endorsed in the Sharm El-Sheikh conference for reconstruction of Gaza in additon to lifting the political and financial siege imposed on the Strip.
Khudari, the head of the popular committee against the siege, hailed the Egyptian decision to permanently open the Rafah border crossing.
