Ten days ago Palestinians have sadly witnessed the kidnap and murder the Italian peace activist " Vitirro Arrigoni " .
All Palestinian factions were deplored this brutality crime , which affect badly on the moral and steadfastness of Palestinian people .
In an Interview with his Palestinian friend " H.G " , said " Arrigoni sailed on the first small boat to enter Gaza in the summer of 2008, one of 44 activists protesting the illegal blockade imposed by Israel against the 1.6 million Palestinians living in Gaza. He returned to Gaza in February of 2010, and was planning to depart Gaza to visit his ill father the following week. He was kidnapped by an extremist “Salafist” group for unknown reasons" .
“The crime committed by these individuals " do not represent the Palestinian people, who loved Vittorio,” Palestinians said
International sources told that The next flotilla of boats that will set sail to break the siege of Gaza will be named FREEDOM FLOTILLA – STAY HUMAN in memory of Vittorio Arrigoni, an Italian activist and volunteer who was murdered Tuesday by an extremist group in the Gaza Strip. “Vik,” 36, was a passenger on the first small flotilla that broke the siege in 2008, and has lived and volunteered in the blockaded region off and on ever since.
“We will do our best, Vik, to carry on the work you have done. The flotilla will return to Gaza in your honor.”, Arrigons' friends confirmed
In the same context , Mr. Mustafa Al-Sawaf , counselor of culture Minster, said that the Palestinian Ministry of Sport and culture joint in solitary and condemned the murder of Italian peace activist " Vitorrio Arrigoni " , and announced a prize for literature in his name , held a cultural seminar for all his works , translating his Book ( stay a Human ) and publish it ,painting a picture for him in the street which named by his name .
A poll showed that 99 % rejected the kidnapping and killing Italian peace activist " Vitirro Arrigoni " .
The information office of the Ministry of interior held an interview with its some of its employee to ask them about their opinion to rename one of Gazans streets by " Vitirrio Arrigoni " , Fatma Dweik , the editor in the information office of the Ministry of interior , said that this action represent a messege to the Italiyan people , that Palestinians reject the policy of killing or assaulting against peace activists who supporting Palestinians issue , and a large rejection for allegations that accused Palestinians as terrorists .
Meanwhile, French translator at the Ministry of interior and national security , Hanadi K. Al-Mallahi said that when the Palestinian government decided to rename Gazans street by the name of Italian peace activist this mean as an honor and appreciation for his blood , and soul after his support Palestinian cause for over ten years .
Once again , Palestinians expressed their love to Arrigoni and sorrow for what is happened for him , saying " Arrigoni in our hearts "
