Most of world overlooked a great and important class in the life , and do not feel their grief, this class is orphans , where the orphan was the victim of deprivation and fragmentation, to be in an alternative home to get other family , that may be compensate thefeeling of parents and the hardship of living under siege, and the recent war on Gaza Strip.
The suffering of children extended due to recent war on Gaza to imagine the bitterness of orphanhood, which means depriving them from kindness of paternity or maternity tenderness, or both, where the innocent childhood was a direct victim for aggression, which targeted unarmed civilians.
Gaza Strip still witnessing repeated strikes result more orphans and shoot them victims of these heinous massacres against Palestinian people.
In that context , A delegation of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Interior and National Security , has organized on Wednesday , 30/03/2011 a visit to Al-amal Institute for orphans, as a part of "citizen service" campaign , which began earlier this month as an orphan is the most important class to be service and to see their conditions.
The delegation included Dr. Moataz Al-Khalidi , director of public relations in the police, Dr. Said Saudi, deputy director of civil defense, Mr. Ahed Hamada, Dr. Ihab El Daly, Director
In the military medical services and a group of police members and ministry staff.
The delegation was received by the Chairman of the Board in the Institute Dr. Baker Numan Alkhozn Dar, Dr. Hazem Al-Sarraj, Vice Chairman of the Board, Ms. Noha Al-Atawneh , employee in the public relations , and a number of members and the workers in the institute .
For his part , Dr. Al-Khuzn Dar, welcomed the visiting delegation, indicating on the role of Interior Ministry to support orphans class , and all the institutes which provide for their care.
Meanwhile , Dr. Al-Sarraj appreciated this step to support of Gaza orphans, which were mostly victims of Gaza war, explaining the concept of an orphan as a child who did not exceed 18 years old and who lost the breadwinner of the family, which is often the father, adding that the Institute hosts other humanitarian cases
on the other hand, the two parties discussed the most important obstacles and problems faced by orphans, either on a personal level, or psychological , after that the delegation toured in the departments of Institute, to see the mechanism which the orphans live inside it.
Dr. Moataz Al-Khalidi, thanked the presidency of the Governing Council of orphans Institute to receive them, praising the efforts of management to provide comfort to the orphans within the framework of religious and moral, and provide love and compassion for them.
Mahmoud Eid, one of the Al-Amal Institute sons said : " I grew up in the Institute where I was thirteen years, when I lost my parents and joined in Al-Amal institute with my brothers, to be their father and brother at the same time where I was the older brother to them, I did not only there, but I wanted to draw the most beautiful paintings and expressive drawings, "explaining that this hobby was small and became bigger by dream and ambition and encouraged by the teachers of the Institute, where he witnesses for them by a debt of gratitude, even as he gifted all of his drawings for them , showing that the orphan is a human being and has the right to enjoy live and ambition and accomplishment , and he has the ability to revived something in the hearts of the world.
It is noteworthy that there are local organizations and international human rights groups reported that the total number of Palestinians killed was 1434 people, including 960 civilians, showing that among the martyrs of Palestinian civilians, 437 children aged less than 16 years, 110 women and 123 elderly, as well as 14 doctors and four journalists, and clear that the proportion of children killed by the totality of civilian victims of war amounted to more than 45%.
