Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh has called the International Security Council to protect the Palestinian people and to punish the Israeli occupation for committing crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Haniyeh said in a press statement: "Security Council, that did not hesitate to issue decisions and implement them quickly, as happened in Libya, so it is being demanded to protect our people and punish the occupation."
Haniyeh also called to activate Goldstone report and urged the Arab peoples to take the issues of Gaza and Palestine into consideration.
Furthermore, he appealed the new Egyptian leadership to open the Rafah crossing and enter what is needed for the Gaza Strip, including construction materials and construction, in response to the crimes and massacres of the Israeli occupation.
