Press statement issued by Supreme Committee of Ambulance and Emergency in Gaza Strip about victims of recent Israeli aggression

Supreme Committee of Ambulance and Emergency has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli violations and considered it a plain violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention, which provided for protecting civilians. During the past few days, we have noted and recorded an Israeli serious escalation targeting primarily civilian children and women, and the latest of which was the heinous crime that took place in the east of Gaza City on Tuesday afternoon whereas, the Israeli occupation bombed many children belonging to Al-Helo family were playing football in front of their house.

 
The outcome of the Israeli aggression during the past three days as follows:

Six martyrs, including four martyrs who have killed on Tuesday 22/3.
Five of those martyrswere children, two of them were left for more than 12 hours lying on the ground in Juhor Al-Deek central the Gaza Strip without allowing medical teams to access to them to lift them.

 

Thirty-eight people were wounded by the Israeli shelling during the past three days, 11 Palestinians were injured in the bombing of Al-Shojaeya, including 15 children and 6 women.


The victims of the latest Israeli crime that occurred on Tuesday afternoon were four martyrs, three of them were children and the fourth martyr was an elderly,50,
Martyrs are:
Mohammed Jihad Al-Helo (11 years)
Mohammad Saber Harara (17 years)
Yasser Ahed Al-Helo (16 years)
Yasser Hamed Al-Helo (50 years)

 

While the number of injured people as a result of the recent Israeli aggression eastern Al-Shojaeya was 12, including eight children and four serious injuries that entered the operating room to receive the necessary treatment.

 

Our Palestinian people and Arab and Islamic nations, we affirm on the following:
Concerning the continued Israeli crimes, we call the international community and human rights organizations to intervene urgently and immediately to stop these unprecedented crimes against civilians and children.

 

We also demand the international community to rein in the Israeli policy, and we confirm that all ambulance crews, hospitals and clinics will be fully ready for any Israeli escalation.
