Fiery clashes breaking out between Palestinians and Israeli forces in Silwan

Fierce clashes have broken out yesterday evening between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces in Silwan southern Al-Aqas Mosque, whereas, many Palestinians were arrested and others were wounded .

Local sources reported that armed Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian young men and opened fire under military protection.

Witnesses mentioned that members of Arabist Unit of Israeli forces have arrested a number of Palestinian youths from the region, and Silwan is still experiencing a serious escalation in the presence for Israeli soldiers.
