Palestinian Ministry of Interior has deplored the lack of precision in propagating what happened in Al-Kateba courtyard, and it explained that the groups that were present in Al-Kateba courtyard are mostly from Fatah and previous security services that did not do any thing effectively to end the division whereas, the place allocated to demonstrations was the yard of Unknown Soldier.
Also, these Fatah groups did not comply with the time and place of demonstrations, that they were still demonstrating after five o'clock pm, and they tried to create chaos and shouted statements against the Palestinian government. So, many members of Palestinian security services intervened to break up the demonstrations and compel these groups to respect security and law.
We referred to statements of fatah leaders whodemand the masses of Fatah in Gaza to prolong the protest.
Therefore, Ministry of Interior also condemned the inflammatory news and campaigns which led by some mass media to tarnish the civilized image of Gaza, most notably Ma'an News Agency, Felesteen TV and some local radio stations.
