Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs reported that the captive "Maryam Salim Suleiman Al-Trabeen, 31, from Jericho in the occupied West Bank, has been arrested for seven years in the Israeli prisons.
Reyad Al-Ashqar said in a statement that the captive Al-Trabeen has been detained since 13/3/2005, and she was sentenced for 8 years and spent over 4 years in solitary.
Al-Ashqar also pointed out that Al-Trabeen has suffered during her detention from many arbitrary violations and abuses.
Accordingly, Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs asked all international institutions concerned with women to take into consideration the bad situation of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails and to highlight their suffering there.
