President of Palestinian government, Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, phoned the Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Al-Arabi to discuss with him the relationship between the two countries.
The Prime Minister praised the historical role of Egypt towards the Palestinian issue and all Arab issues, pointing out to the strong relationship that link between the two countries and peoples.
Furthermore, Al-Arabi thanked Haniyeh's call, stressing on the interest of Egypt to the Palestinian cause.
Also, Haniyeh sent a letter to the head of ruling military junta in Egypt, Muhammad Tantawi, the chairman of new government Essam Sharaf.
