As usual every Monday, the mother of prisoner Solaiman Shalluf, who has been sentenced for 13 years in the Israeli prisons, carried her son's photo and went to the weekly sit-in for the families of prisoners in the Red Cross headquarters in Gaza City.
But today she was surprised by the participation of Mr. Fathi Hammad, Minister of Interior and National Security, and a number of the Palestinian government ministers in the weekly sit-in.
Whereas, the governmental delegation included Mohammed Faraj Al-Ghoul, Minister of prisoners, Mr. Ahmed AL-Kurd, Minister of Social Affairs and a number of dignitaries.
Al-Kurd saluted all prisoners that are detained in Israeli jails, confirming that came to show solidarity and participate the families of prisoners, and he demanded to release all prisoners.
He added: "The Palestinian government will not surrender until releasing all prisoners, and the issue of prisoners is the most important issue for us."
Al-Kurd stressed that the abduction of Shalit, who has been captured by the Palestinian resistance is just a legitimate means to release all prisoners.
Minister of Social Affairs also denounced the international pressure on the Palestinian government in order to release an Israeli soldier, and they did not take into consideration seven thousand Palestinian prisoners, that are being tortured and killed in the Israeli prisons.
