Dr. Ghazi Hamad, director of Authority of Crossings in the Gaza Strip, said in an exclusive statement to Interior Ministry's website: "The Egyptian authorities decided to open the Rafah crossing this night for three days to enter a one-way stranded people from the Egyptian side."
Hamad added that communications are underway to open the crossing permanently after the end of three days.
Also, lit. col. Ayuob Abu Sha'ar, director of Rafah crossing, confirmed that the Rafah crossing will be opened at seven o'clock on Friday evening, and will continue for three days.
It is worth mentioning thathundreds of Palestinians have been besieged in Egypt since the Egyptian revolution on January 25, whereas, the crossing was closed following the events of the revolution.
