Al-Quds Committee at Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs has condemned a new Israeli scheme to build 212 housing units on the lands of Lafta village in the center of Jerusalem on about 450 acres, commercial areas, tourism offices and cottages.
Al-Quds Committee pointed out that the Israeli Administration of Lands has issued in recent days a tender to build 212 settlement units in Jerusalem, noting that these Israeli schemes aim at Judaizing Jerusalem.
Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs confirmed that these Israeli flagrant actions against Jerusalem have been done under the claims of Israeli occupation to develop the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, while they seek to evacuate Jerusalem from its people and banish them.
