Authority of Crossings and Border confirmed that they are making contacts with Egyptian officials and others relevant authorities to end the suffering of Palestinian citizens and re-open the Rafah crossing, appealing the Egyptian authorities to reopen the crossing as soon as possible; to decrease the humanitarian suffering of Palestinians, particularly patients who are in need of quick treatment.
Also, Authority of Crossings demanded through a press release on Sunday all Palestinian people not to listen to any rumors regarding the opening of Rafah crossing to prevent any situation of uncertainty and confusion and to follow-up to the official statements that will be issued by Authority of Crossings.
