Kidnapping of Palestinian Members of Parliament "a crime against nation and terrorist act"

Kidnapping and arresting of Palestinian Members of Parliament in the prisons of Israeli occupation authorities disable the option of Arab peoples, ravish their political will and confiscate their right to choose their representatives, all that are considered as a hideous crime against the nation and terrorist act.

Consequently, the abduction of free and honest representatives of the Palestinian people, who were chosen by the Palestinian people to defend their rights and represent them in the international assemblies, by the Israeli occupation authorities is considered as a heinous crime against the nation.

Dr. Ahmed Bahar, the first vice-head of Palestinian Legislative Council, confirmed that the kidnapping of Palestinian Members of Parliament by the Israeli occupation did not impair their firm will and intention, stressing that they deserve all forms of support and solidarity, in order to release them and stop this crime.

Moreover, International Campaign for Releasing detained MPs emphasized that the continued administrative abduction against the Palestinian deputies is a humanitarian crime aimed at the absence of deputies and exclude them from their parliamentary assemblies, so, it requires urgent action. "

The silence on the crime of kidnapping Palestinian deputies is hideous and serious crime, because it is naked aggression on the Palestinian people as a whole, and a disagreeable criminal act; in accordance with international law and international treaties and conventions, which recognize the immunity of those deputies, ministers and head of Legislative Council against the kidnapping and torture, and guarantee the freedom of practicing political and diplomatic works.

So, all Arab and Muslim parliamentarians should make a serious stand and a strong campaign and exerting more efforts to put pressure on their governments to release all kidnapped deputies.
