Dr. Al-Kahlout denounces targeting warehouse of drugs by Israeli occupation

Dr. Atef Al-Kahlout, Director of Medical Services in the Gaza Strip, has denounced what was done by the Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Wednesday, that targeting a warehouse of drugs for Ministry of Health eastern Gaza City.

 
Dr. Al-Kahlout considered that the Israeli shelling which targeted health and civilian institutions as a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.


He added that this targeting comes at a time when the Gaza Strip witnesses humanitarian and healthy crisis, whereas, it was suffering from an acute shortage of medicines and medical equipment, as more than (370) kinds of medicines and medical equipment were not available in the warehouses of drugs in the Gaza Strip.

 
Colonel Al-Kahlout appealed international authorities, human rights organizations, World Health Organization and International Committee of Red Cross to intervene immediately to restrain the criminal Israeli policy and lift the unfair siege on the Gaza Strip and enter medicines and medical equipment to save the lives of hundreds of patients in the Gaza Strip's hospitals.
