Director of Human Rights Unit, Dr. Mohammad Musleh confirmed on the positive relationship between the Human Rights Unit in the Ministry of Interior and other human rights organizations that operating in the Gaza Strip, considering that the unit is responsible for the visit of any delegation of the Red Cross or other institutions to internal security headquarters.
Musleh explained that the unit is working to adjust the relationship between the members of security services and the Palestinian public.

Musleh pointed out in an interview with Interior Ministry's website that Human Rights Unit is following up serious issues related to the grievances of the Palestinian citizen, such as imprisonment or any security issues.
He noted that the relationship between human rights unit, political guidance committee and office of general supervisor is a complementary relationship; to resolve any problem or lift any injustice.
Musleh emphasized on the statements of Minister of the Interior Mr. Fathi Hammad in more than one occasion that the gates of Interior Ministry of all civilian and military headquarters and prisons are opened for any human rights and official and popular institutions to supervise our performance.
Whereas, Fathi Hammad has issued a decision to activate the Human Rights Unit at the Ministry of Interior in the sixteenth of November 2009, because of the importance of this unit to raise awareness of the rights of the Palestinian citizens.
