Humanitarian Catastrophe Will Settle Down In Gaza Strip Due to "Lack of Medicines"

"Unfortunately .. There is no thing".. This is the only answer that said to the Palestinian patients in the Gaza Strip from pharmacies and drug stores in hospitals if they asked for medicines and drugs needed to treat their chronic diseases.

Gaza patients screaming: "We are dying"
Slow death is the fate of those sick people because of lack of medicines and spare parts for repairing the damaged medical machines due to the Israeli siege which has been imposed on the Gaza Strip since more than four years.

Consequently, Ministry of Health in the Palestinian government in Gaza warns of a health disaster due to the continued shortage of medicines and medical supplies in the Gaza Strip's hospitals, pointing out that its warehouses are still suffering from a severe shortage of dozens of medicines.

General director of pharmacy department at Ministry of Health Dr. Munir Al-Bursh said: "There is a real threat to halt surgeries in Gaza Strip's hospitals, if medicines and medical supplies still prevented from entering Gaza", showing that there is a severe shortage in medical machines and medicines for the surgical operations room.

Dr. Al-Bursh said. "Nearly 183 kinds of medicines in addition to 165 types of medical equipment are not available in the stores and hospitals of Ministry of Health.

Not only the Israeli siege, but also Ramallah government prevent medicines and medical supplies from entering the Gaza Strip and exploit the suffering of patients to punish the whole Palestinian people in Gaza.

Catastrophic Status…
Thus, Ministry of Health called all international institutions to immediately intervene and pressure on Health Ministry in Ramallah to end the crisis of medicines and end the catastrophic health status in the Gaza Strip.

Also, Palestinian Ministry of Health follows up the crisis with great concern with all competent authorities and shows it as a tragic scene as a result of these "irresponsible practices" that made by Health Ministry in Ramallah.
