Haniyeha: Breaking siege and reconstruction in the first level of our priorities

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh , has confirmed that the most important priorities of his government in the current period is to break the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and rebuild what was destroyed by the occupation during the last war.


Haniyeha renewed his assuring  that the government will keep the rights of the Palestinian people, and will strive to achieve Palestinian reconciliation and working for the liberation of prisoners from Israeli jails.


This came during a meeting between  Haniyeha , and the delegation of medical convoy, "Jerusalem 5" Libya, which arrived  the Gaza Strip last Thursday, at the headquarters of the Legislative Council in Gaza.

 
The Prime Minister emphasized , that the occupation and other tried to snatch the positions during the siege and aggression, "and this will not happen, so the resistance is a strategic choice and legal right , and all the agreements signed in secret does not commit the Palestinian people."


When , Haniyeha thanked the Libyan continued support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, which would support and strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinians on their land.


He said: "It is not a stranger to Libya's leadership, government and people to support Palestine, we are brought up to date of great people of this nation headed by martyr Sheikh Omar Al-Mukhtar," noting that the large and continuing Libya support indicates the status of Palestine to both Libyan and break the siege imposed on the Gaza at the head of Libya's political agenda.

 

He stressed the necessity of continuing the convoys  to break the siege, especially from the "strategic depth" of the Palestinian people is Arab and Islamic nation.


Meanwhile , the President of he medical delegation , Nuri Abdullah Shahawi , thanked the warm reception and hospitality of the Palestinian people .


Shahawi , confirmed  that the medical convoy will arrive within two weeks to the Gaza Strip, perhaps working to alleviate the blockade, pointing out that the convoys of Jerusalem and Libyan support for the Palestinian people and its cause will not stop .
