Gaza – Interior Ministry
Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad said, during the opening ceremony of a police station in Al-Zaytoun area eastern Gaza,: "We are supporting the Tunisian people in choosing their leaders."
Hammad added that what happened in Tunisia, "applied the will of Tunisian people."
He also continued: "We ask God for their good in their next elections to choose a new government."
