Civil institutions in Gaza have formed on Wednesday a non-governmental committee to resolve the crisis of shortage of medicines in the Gaza Strip, and to communicate immediately and directly with all parties in the governments of Gaza and Ramallah; in order to end the problem and consolidate the steadfastness of our people.
The committee includes in its membership network of NGOs, the health sector, human rights organizations and the representative of World Health Organization.
Whereas, the non-governmental committee held meeting to discuss the risks of this acute shortage on the life of patients and health situation in the Gaza Strip in general, stressing on the need to neutralize the humanitarian and health aspects away the political disputes.
Also, the non-governmental committee emphasized on the importance of hard work urgently in order to overcome this crisis and protect the lives and health of patients.
It is worth mentioning thatthe Gaza Strip is suffering these days from an acute shortage of medicines and medical consumables.
