Israeli bulldozers have demolished on Wednesday 12/1/2011, a Palestinian school and more than 16 houses in the east of Yatta city southern Hebron.
The mayor of Yatta Zahran Abu Qbiyta said: " approximately 35 Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers stormed on Wednesday morning Al Ka'abneh area eastern the city and surrounded the primary school and started to demolish it.
Also, the Isreali bulldozers have removed sixteen houses, under the pretense that it is a closed military zone.
Abu Qbiyta affirmed that the Israeli occupation alleged that those school and homes located in the area "c" as the Oslo Accords and is therefore subject to their control.
Therefore, Abu Qbiyta denounced these barbaric practices against the education sector and depriving students of their school, under the pretense that they want to maintain the security of settlers and Israeli soldiers, in addition to displacing more than 100 Palestinians.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces stepped up the operations of demolition since January in Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank.
