Ministry of Interior and National Security has refuted on Tuesday biased reports and news which reported by "Al Ahram" Egyptian Newspaper in its issue yesterday that two Palestinian martyrs were shot by the Israeli occupation in the east of Gaza recently, "were affiliated with Al Qaeda."
Therefore, Ministry of Interior denied any existence of "Al Qaeda" in the Gaza Strip, confirming that there are Palestinian resistance factions only that are well-known in Gaza.
Also, Interior Ministry referred to the repeated such suspicious reports by correspondent of Al Ahram Newspaper, explaining that he wanted to show things which do not exist in the Gaza Strip.
Consequently, Ministry of Interior denounced what was reported by the Egyptian newspaper, and it said, "Unfortunately, these reports were propagated at the same time of the Israeli threats to launch another aggression on the Gaza Strip, as they want to provide justifications for the Israeli occupation to attack the Gaza Strip."
Whereas, Ministry of Interior explained that the Palestinian medical crews retrieved last Thursday (6/1) bodies of two "unidentified" martyrs, who were shot by Israeli forces in Jabaliya northern the Gaza Strip.
It also explained that the medical crews retrieved the bodies of two martyrs after the Red Cross had informed the security sources that the Israeli occupation told them that there are two dead bodies in that area.
Whereas, the Israeli occupation forces asked the ambulance crew to unclothe the two martyrs, and they had found with one of martyrs ID card including his name (Mostafa Abd Al Fattah Mohammad) from the population of Giza in Egypt.
It noted the ambulance crew refused to unclothe the two martyrs, indicating their communication with the Red Cross, and it added that "the two martyrs wore civilian clothes."
Therefore, Ministry of Interior confirmed in a statement that the competent authorities have communicated with the Egyptian side on the same day and informed them of what had happened, pointing out that they handed over the Egyptian side CD including report of the forensic doctor and pictures of two martyrs and their fingerprints.
