Eng. Ihab Al-Ghussain , Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior and National Security , has confirmed that the media formed a major role to change many of the views of countries and peoples of the world by transferring the events of the recent Israeli war on the Gaza Strip at the end of 2008.
Al-Gussain , showed in an exclusive interview for the Ministry of Interior , that the second anniversary of the Gaza war , the media in the Gaza Strip have changed much from the views of the world and people around the outlook towards the Zionist state, indicating that it had changed a lot of global and political positions against the Zionist enemy and it moved the Palestinian cause again inside the feelings of Arab and Islamic nation.
On the other hand , he pointed in his speech that the Ministry of Interior tried to document some of committed crimes by the occupation, especially as regards the destruction of Interior Ministry headquarters, martyrs and the other, and he showed that the occurred tragedy is much greater than the Ministry has documented the coverage.
Moreover , He revealed that his ministry immediately after the war began to photo two films on the destruction of Interior Ministry headquarters , and about the beginning of the reconstruction , in addition to another film about the life of the martyr Sheikh Said Siyam.
When , he explained that the ministry used all its few potential, and possibilities , pointing out that they suffering a lot because the cut of electricity, and the security situation did not help much, stressing that the website of the Ministry has been going on throughout the war by the follow-up crews working in the media office.
"At the beginning of the first moments of Israeli war, on Saturday , December 27, 2008 , I was in the home of Former Palestinian Minister martyr Said Siyam , to discuss the future view to the situation in Gaza , especially within Israeli threats , but he was assured that the situation is safety , and there is no Zionist escalation according to the Arabic assurance " , he said .

Meanwhile , he described the case of readiness to face crisis in the war , and how they went from the house of the martyr Siyam to the place of journalists' gathering in Al-Shawa and Al-Husary Towers central Gaza , to continue events over the time, with all Arabic and foreign channels and media .
Al-Ghussain pointed out , that in the next day of the war , the leader martyr Mr. Said Siyam asked me to hold a press conference to clarify what happened and give a summary about the targeting and destruction of headquarters and the number of the martyrs of police and other security services.
Eng. The spokesman of the Ministry of the Interior stressed , that what is happened as crime but disaster did not occur over the whole of humanity, which indicates that the Zionists lack any sense of the meanings of humanity and democracy, which sang out in front of the world. "
He assured , that the media had a great role to transfer the suffering of Palestinian people during the war " .
At the end of his speech, he thanked all media for their efforts and role in highlighting the fact , and he called them to always bias for their homeland , humanity, democracy and human rights.
