Gaza- Interior Ministry
Ministry of Interior and National Security has denied on Monday evening the allegations of MP Ashraf Joma'a, Fatah's parliamentary bloc in the Legislative Council, the existence of political detention in Gaza.
Interior Ministry said in a statement: "We challenge that MP Joma'a declares one name of those detainees that arrested on political grounds", considering his statements as misinformation and confusion.
Also, Ministry of Interior confirmed that human rights organizations and independent personalities visited the prisons in Gaza and belied the allegations of MP Joma'a.
