Israeli forces kidnap 70 Palestinians since 2011 including 13 children

Ministry of Prisoners and Released confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities have abducted since the beginning of this year 67 Palestinians, including 13 children and 3 fishermen, in addition to the five who have been kidnapped by the Israeli occupation after being released by Fatah security, who were on hunger strike for 42 consecutive days in the prisons of Fatah security services in Ramallah.

 

Reyad Al-Ashkar, director of Information Department in the ministry, reported that one of the kidnapped is director of Jenin Zakat Committee and one of the elders Sheikh "Ahmed Slatneh" after storming his house, as well as three members of municipal council of Beit Rima, in addition to Rami Al-Barghouti.

 
Al-Ashkar showed that the Israeli occupation has continued in the new year targeting children and minors, whereas, 13 children were abducted, under the pretext of throwing stones at the settlers.

 

Also, the Israeli forces are still kidnapping the Palestinian fishermen from the coast of Gaza Strip, whereas, three of them were abducted on the fourth of January by Israeli warships in front of Gaza port, and they were taken to unknown destination.
 
Al-Ashkar added that the Israeli occupation have kidnapped Muhannad Hussein Abdullah and his brother Abd Al Latif, who were abducted by Fatah security agencies in the occupied West Bank for 3 years, and they have not be released only one month.

 

In addition to 70 citizens, Israeli occupation authorities kidnapped 33 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank, under the pretext of entering the territories of 1948 without a permit, the Israeli occupation also transferred 10 of these workers to administrative detention without charge or trial.
 
Ministry of Prisoners and Released appealed the international community to pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop the policy of arbitrary arrests against the Palestinian people, that makes prisons full of prisoners permanently.
