Six months ago Ministry of Interior and National Security has launched many campaigns aimed at keeping security and safety in the Palestinian street , that all of these campaigns were succeeded by the efforts of its members .
Once again , the Ministry of Interior launched a new campaign on Sunday, November 7, 2011 , entitled " Citizen's dignity and prestige of policeman " , as a step to keep security and safety of Palestinian people in the Gazans street .
Where , the campaign included several activities , such as visiting families , schools , governmental and non- governmental institutions and organizations , in addition to helping people in the roads and anywhere .
During the visits for homes , families appreciated the role of policeman to be closure form the Palestinian people , and to exchange the common concept of the policeman to the wonderful meaning , including the love and respect for all classes of society .
When a poll showed that 95,5 % supported the campaign , including deputies , Journalists , honors personalities , and legal men who hoped to complete such these campaigns and activities and not to be for 50 days only .
Meanwhile , Eng. Ihab Al-Ghussain , the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior and National security , confirmed that his ministry seeking always to save and protect the dignity of citizen , pointing out to the series previous campaigns starting from " Anti- Drug campaign , and the work against spies , reaching to " Citizen's dignity and prestige of policeman ", which all of them aimed at keeping the security and dignity of citizen .
On the other hand , the Ministry of Interior and National Security assured , that the campaign of citizen's dignity and prestige of policeman has made significant achievements since the first phase of its launching , due to the efforts of the Ministry and all its departments , and according to a great cooperation by the citizens ,in order to success the campaign.
The ministry added , that the main aim of the campaign is to: develop the skills of the police and the police officer, and to improve the relationship between the policeman and the citizen, and prepare the citizen to the stage of application of law, and to entrench the culture of the legal treatment of all classes of Gazan society.
Notably , that the Ministry of Interior has organized a festival to end the campaign in 27-12-2010 , which synchronized with " the day of Palestinian policeman", and the second anniversary of Al-Furqan war , as a revival of the day of Palestinian policeman, where hundreds of martyrs of the security services sacrificed for our beloved Palestine.
Finally , no one can deny that the campaign of " Citizen's dignity and prestige of policeman " was a step on the road of progress and success , that the dignity and prestige two faces for the same coin
