Hammad: Our internal front coherent by the steadfastness of our people

Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad confirmed that the internal front in the Gaza Strip is a coherent and strong, praising the steadfastness of Palestinian people, their deputies and resistance that confronted the Israeli occupation in Al Furqan war, which coincides with the second anniversary on Monday27/12/2010.

 

Hammad explained, during a speech at the evening ceremony which was organized by Ministry of Interior to conclude the campaign of "citizen's dignity and policeman's prestige" which was launched on the seventh of November, that the security services and the Palestinian resistance formed a bulwark against the Israeli expansion.


Minister of Interior appreciated the sacrifices of Palestinian people and their steadfastness during Al Furqan Battle.


He spoke to the Israeli occupation: "In the second anniversary of Al Furqan war, the Israeli occupation should not to return to Gaza again."


Mr. Hammad pointed out that the Ministry of Interior provided during Al Furqan war 366 martyr from the members of security services and police, while 350 were wounded.

 

He added: "Our people provided during Al Furqan Battle 1400 martyr, so they did not accept shame and humiliation."


Minister of Interior asked the Arab and Islamic nations not to let the Palestinian people alone in confronting the Israeli occupation, and he called them to meet; in order to end the siege imposed on the residents of Gaza Strip.

 

Interior Ministry has ended on Monday evening the events of campaign citizen's dignity and policeman's prestige" in an evening ceremony was held in Rashad Al-Shawa Center, and it was attended by a number of legal, governmental persons, leadership of "Hamas", Palestinian factions, dignitaries, academics and leaders of security services and police and a group of officers, policemen and policewomen.


Moreover, Dr. Anwar Al-Buraawi, chairman of political and moral guidance commission at Ministry of Interior, announced that ministry is ready to launch a new campaign early next year titled "Serving the Palestinian citizen."
