Gaza- Ministry of Interior
Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad said that " Ministry of Interior has made great efforts to reconstruct police and security institutions and expand some headquarters."
Mr. Hammad said that during his visit, accompanied by lieutenant colonel Mahmoud Salah Dr. Ibrahim Habib on Friday to the house of major general Mesbah Saqer in Gaza City.
Hammad confirmed that the visit was made within the Ministry of Interior's communication with legal personalities in the Palestinian society; to strengthen the bonds of relationship with them.
He explained that the Ministry of Interior is going in the footsteps of those who took over the security of homeland and citizens, such as major general Mesbah Saqer, and he said "We do not deny the jihad of former brothers, and we honored to visit you and benefit from your experiences in the ministry."
Hammad pointed out that the ministry launched in its work from Islam based on Quran and Sunnah, and we believe that victory for the Palestinian people despite the disparity in power between us and the Israeli enemy.
Also, Major General Saqer expressed his happiness with the visit, and thanked the Minister of Interior for his interest in and appreciation with personalities who provided their expertise to service their country.
Major General Saqer called for being unity and achieve reconciliation urgently, and mobilize efforts to face of Israeli conspiracies against our people.
Moreover, Hammad visited a Hamas leader Abu Bakr Nofal; to congratulate him for safely back home from Hijaz.
Nofal thanked the delegation for their visit, praising the role of Interior Ministry and security agencies to ensure security in the Festival of Hamas movement.
