Anti-Drugs Police northern the Gaza Strip seized large quantities of Tramadol, in addition to a number of bombs, bullets and weapons.
Capt. Ashraf A-Bayari said an exclusive statement that investigations confirmed the presence of large quantities of Tramadol with one of citizens, and they already seized him, who has approximately 9 thousand tablets of Tramadol and different types of weapons.
Also, Lieutenant Colonel Amjad Sarhan, director of Anti-Drugs Unit in the Palestinian police, said that he had issued clear instructions on Hamas festival to intensify efforts against this phenomenon, because many traders try to take advantage of this anniversary to promote these pills.
Sarhan confirmed that Anti-Drugs Units will spare no effort and work day and night in order to protect the Palestinian community from this dangerous phenomenon, and it will punish anyone who thinking to destroy our young people and the Palestinian society.
Moreover, Lieutenant Colonel Amjad Sarhan thanked all members and police officers who working in Anti-Drugs Units for their great efforts to service the homeland and citizens, and he called them for making more efforts to fight the scourge of drugs in our society.
