Gaza police paid a visit to Palestinian Centre for Human Rights and distributes aid to citizens

A delegation from Al-Abbas police station visited Palestinian Centre for Human Rights in Gaza City, within the campaign's events "citizen's dignity and policeman's prestige".

 

The delegation was led by Maj. Ala'a Al-Batsh and his deputy Major Mohammed Al-Shurafa, Captain Helmi Abdel Aal, Thaer Al-Nejma and a group of police officers.


The delegation was received by Hamdi Shaqqura, Mr. Iyad Al-Alami and a number of legal and social researchers.

 

Mr. Shaqqura delivered a brief on the work of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, which consists of several units, the most important is the Legal Unit that interest to follow up the citizens' complaints about the Israeli attacks, as well as providing services to the detainees and following-up the files of legal prosecuting of war criminals.


Also, Al-Batsh thanked the Palestinian Center for their warm welcome and the opportunity to connect between the Centre and the Palestinian police.


On the other hand, Tuffah and Darj police station distributed financial assistance to poor families in the region.
