Minister of Interior: Jordan will not be substitute homeland for Palestinians

Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad said: "Jordan will not be a substitute homeland for the Palestinians from their land," emphasizing on the covenant of Palestinian people to maintain and defend their land until liberate it.

 

Hammad appreciated, during his visit and a number of security services' chiefs to Jordanian Field Hospital southern Gaza on Tuesday afternoon, the good relations between the Palestinian and Jordanian peoples, and he added: "It is not stranger to the sons of this great Jordanian people to continue their efforts for their brothers in Gaza."


Interior Minister was accompanied, during his visit to Jordanian Medical Mission (11), which recently arrived in Gaza, by Major General Abdul Qader Al-Arbeed Director General of Military Medical Services, Brigadier General Yusuf Al-Zahar, Director General of Civil Defense, and Brigadier General Maher Al-Ramli director of international Interpol at the ministry.


Mr. Hammad was received by head of Jordanian field hospital Dr. Nabil Al-Hamoud, Colonel Rukon Ibrahim Bani Bakr and a group of doctors, workers and a number of members of medical mission.


Whereas, the Jordanian medical delegations are still coming to the besieged Gaza Strip for four years; to provide medical services and make surgeries for the woundedpeopleof brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2008.


Therefore, Mr. Hammad welcomed the delegations of Jordanian Medical Mission (11) and praised the previous ten medical delegations.


Also, Dr. Al-Hamoud welcomed the delegation of Interior Ministry, pointing out that the current visit is his second visit to the Gaza Strip.


Head of medical mission (11) Colonel Bani Baker showed that the primary motivation for their arrival in Gaza to provide medical and humanitarian support needed for the Palestinian people.

 

He also pointed out to the insistence of Jordanian doctors to come to Gaza to share its families and help them and provide the necessary support to them, describing the Palestinian people as friendly and good despite the Israeli tragedy and siege.


At the end of the visit,Minister of Interior congratulated the Jordanian doctors on the occasion of the Islamic New Year of 1432A.H., and invited them to participate in the ceremony to honor them for their great efforts in servicing the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
