Col. Ayman Al- Batneeji , spokesman for the Palestinian police , has confirmed that the method of security and police does not depend on coercion and force, but basically depends on the high method of media to deliver the idea, and he said : " The media has a big role and its is the primary means of human and institutions and this relationship needs a lot of governments to close its citizens. "
He pointed out, that the media has contributed significantly to the success of the campaign "citizen's dignity and the policeman's prestige " , which launched by the Ministry of Interior and National Security in the seventh of November, regarding it as the basis for the success of the campaign and raise public awareness.
Al-Batneeji showed during a televised interview , on the Aqsa TV on Monday morning (22/11) entitled "The role of media to help the police to perform its functions" that the media's role is to help the citizens with the policeman and the security man to perform their duties, pointing out that the work of man Police is divided into one of two position " administrative and judicial".
Al- Batneeji , said that the administrative function precede the occurrence of crimes , that the police used it in all conditions of work by broadcasting their plans and ideas to the public, while the mean of the judicial function is to prevent a crime by giving information and ideas for the citizen, to bring him on how to deal with event easily an the collaboration with the police.
On the other hand , he stressed on the keenness of the Palestinian police to upgrade security policeman generation going according to religious and moral education, moreover he called the citizens to know the laws to not fall into the problems and events.
Meanwhile , The Spokesman of police talked about number of daily events, activities and posts basis by the fifty-day campaign, praising the great role of the media coverage of events to ongoing the campaign.
He added: "We want to convey the message to the public and our people that the policeman is there to serve help them, and he is from the same community is trying to convey a good message to his people."
