Palestinian Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad confirmed that the campaign of "citizen's dignity and policeman' prestige", which has been launched by Ministry of Interior on the 7th of November, has achieved more than expected.
Hammad said in a statement to Ministry of Interior's website while they were praying for rain with a number of the campaign's leaders, officers, policemen and security services in Abu Khadra in Gaza City: "We have achieved more than expected in the campaign; because we added new goals and ideas to give success to the campaign. "
Minister of the Interior pointed out that the committee which was assigned to the campaign accepts suggestions, ideas and recommendations, and it puts them immediately in the daily program, considering the campaign as the most successful campaigns undertaken by the Ministry of Interior.
Hammad considered the campaign's plan as a flexible, adding: "Every day we apply new ideas and the prayer for rain is a new idea for communicating with our people, due to the Israeli siege."
Hammad showed that the Ministry of Interior the campaign of "citizen's dignity and policeman's prestige" records every day a success on the ground.
He also noted that there is a special committee to follow up the flexible plan of campaign to give success to it.
Regarding the prayer for rain, Hammad mentioned that the prayer for rain was made to ease concerns of life in all fields.
In response to a question concerning the duration of campaign, Minister of Interior considered the specified period to apply the campaign for fifty days as a training on be more close to our people; in order to serve them.
He confirmed that many objectives will be followed up until become as an integral part of the behavior of Palestinian policemen and members of security services with citizens.
