Gaza- Civil Defense
Civil Defense Service issued its weekly report that documents the events which were resolved by its workers in the Gaza Strip's governorates from 31/10 until 6/11/2010.
Whereas, Civil Defense's crews extinguished (20) fire and saved (10) citizen, while they transferred (3) dead, (25) injured and (2) suffocated.
Department of Central Operations showed in the report that the rate of fires this week has declined, due to awareness campaigns, courses and workshops for citizens that have been organized by Civil Defense Directorate. It also mentioned that some of the fires came as a result of neglect, some of them due to short circuit, and the others caused by arson.
Also, the report pointed out to the activity of Department of Security and Public Safety, that issue 39 statement after inspecting the facilities, institutions and different crafts, which agree with the terms of public safety, also four factories were granted work permits in all governorates of the Gaza Strip.
