Medical Services: 3 killed and 21 injured by Israeli occupation during October

Information office of Medical Services in the Gaza Strip issued its monthly report, that documents the most prominent events and continuous Israeli violations against civilians in the Gaza Strip during October 2010.

Air strikes:
The report indicated that the Israeli occupation has launched three raids on different parts of the Gaza Strip, whereas, two people were killed and ten were wounded northern and central Gaza. Martyrs were Mahmoud Jaber Washeh, 21, and Mohammed Hesham Zaqout 22 years.

Cannonballs:
Israeli occupation has also launched a number of artillery shells in different parts of the Gaza Strip, targeting the agricultural land and houses, whereas, the cannonball hit the citizen Jihad Sobhi Afaneh 20 years and killed him immediately eastern Jabaliya. 

Workers of pebbles:
The report also confirmed that the Israeli occupation's crimes against workers of pebbles have increased during October 2010, to record the highest rate of injuries compared to previous months. Whereas, the number of injured workers was 11 injured, half of them were young children, so, the number of injured workers has increased to 61 injured and two martyrs since February 2009.

Tunnels area:
Because of the Israeli blockade and lack of necessities of life to the besieged Gaza Strip for four years, tunnels' workers are still bringing foodstuffs to the Gaza Strip; however, tunnels are still killing workers, whereas, more than three citizens were killed while working in the tunnels and 10 others suffered from suffocation while working there.

The report concluded with confirmation that the continued Israeli blockade to the Gaza Strip and deliberately targeting civilians is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention and ignores the principles of humanity; which calls for immediate action by the concerned authorities to curb the Israeli policy of orgy against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
