Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad participated on Friday afternoon (29/10) in a festival "Faithful to Palestine" that was organized by the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine in the 23rd anniversary of its inception, and the anniversary of Dr. Fathi Al-Shakaki's death in Gaza City.
The festival of Islamic Jihad Movement, which has largely attended in addition to Mr. Hammad, was attended by a large delegation of Hamas leaders, led by two members of Political Bureau of Hamas, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahar and Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, Ayman Taha, Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri and a large crowd of all members of Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Whereas, Al-Aqsa TV, Al-Jazeera, Al-Quds and some channels telecasted the festival of Islamic Jihad from Gaza, which began after Friday prayers, while Falsteen TV did not mention any thing about the anniversary of Islamic Jihad's inception.
It is worth mentioning; that Islamic Jihad Movement made its great festival on Kateiba ground in Gaza City with the participation and support of the Palestinian government and guarded by police members, while Fatah Authority in Ramallah is preventing the Islamic Jihad movement from practicing any events in this anniversary, but they are arresting the Islamic Jihad's leaders and members in its prisons.
