Mr. Hammad: Lifeline 5 to transfer Ministry of Interior's works

Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad said that "his ministry hopes that the delegation of lifeline 5 convoy, which is visiting the Gaza Strip, to transfer their works at police stations and prisons, in addition to their efforts in providing all requirements for detainees."

 

Mr. Hammad explained in a press statement, after his visit to Gaza prison, that the idea was to inform the activists of lifeline "5" on all happenings, developments and achievements of the Palestinian people.


He also said: "We hope that the delegation of lifeline 5 convoy to transfer the situations there, especially as this matter related to the dignity and rights' humans and treat the crimes which committed by these prisoners even come out of prison in a good well."

 

Palestinian Minister of Interior pointed out that the delegation of lifeline 5 wanted to have a view on prisoners of Interior Ministry, adding: "We responded to their request to visit the prisoners and release 20 detainee, so that we can to prove to all human rights institutions that it is a vigorous exercise."


Moreover, he confirmed that the Ministry of Interior will take all comments which made by human rights organizations and activists who are coming to Gaza, and we will apply it on the ground.

 

However, Hammad said: "We wished that the delegation of lifeline 5 to visit prisons; to prove to the world that we have no political prisoners at all, and we are reforming and habilitating the criminal prisoners, in order to come out able to build and to be positive in the society" .
