Israeli troops kidnap 3 Najah university students in Nablus

The international Tadamun (solidarity) foundation for human rights said the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped at dawn Thursday three Palestinian students from Al-Najah national university after raids on their homes in Nablus city.

Jounrlist Nawwaf Al-Amer, the father of student Ibrahim, told the foundation that the IOF troops stormed his home at dawn in the village of Kafr Kalil and took his son blindfolded and handcuffed to Petah Tikva interrogation center, noting that his son has only one month before he graduates from law school.

The troops also kidnapped two other students majoring in engineering from their homes in Nablus and took them to their detention centers. Both of them are supposed to be graduating this year.

The foundation affirmed that the IOF troops intensified lately its arrest campaigns against students from Al-Najah university and kidnapped during this month eight of them.

In separate incidents, the Israeli bulldozers Thursday morning destroyed vast tracts of agicultrual lands in Al-Baqa'a area, east of Al-Khalil city.

Local sources said the bulldozers razed 10 dunums of lands planted with grapes, almonds and vegetables belonging to Palestinian villagers living in Al-Baqa'a area near Kiryat Arba settlement.

The Palestinian citizens and their property in this area are exposed to frequent attacks by Israeli troops and settlers.

The IOF troops also invaded on the same day at dawn the towns of Beit Ummar and Halhul, north of Al-Khalil city, and ransacked a number of homes before rounding up two Palestinians and taking them to an unknown destination.
