Palestinian government of Ismail Haneyya has asked the world community to pressure Israel into dismantling its settlements in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. A government statement on Tuesday said that the Israeli occupation will one day get out of all Palestinian land, calling on the Palestinian people to resist occupation until its final defeat.

The statement on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Aqsa intifada urged all Palestinian factions to unite in face of occupation, asking the Ramallah authority not to quell resistance.

It urged Ramallah to withdraw from talks with the Israeli occupation authority, describing the talks as a "waste of time" and only serve occupation.

The government called on the Arab and Islamic countries to stand up to projects aimed at liquidating the Palestine cause and not to provide a cover for anyone to surrender Palestinian rights and constants.
